OUR OVERALL GOALS:

Church Goals:

Our Vision: “Raising God a generation of Worshippers”

Our Mission:  Derived from our vision, our mission is P.A.S.S:

·         Preparing every Believer                    (MAGNIFICATION)

·         Accept God’s love amongst another    (MEMBERSHIP)

·         Share it in Christ’s Body                      (MINISTRY)

·         Share it with the world at large           ( MISSION )

Worship is the total expression of our love to God.  It’s meant to be our enjoyment of God as HIS creation. It consequently becomes our generational mandate to fulfill this mission statement. Our action plan abbreviated (P.A.S.S) above; holds four statements and key words at the end of each. We endeavor to roll out this mission on a monthly basis through:

Every first Sunday is a Covenant Worship Sunday which envelopes into a Magnification week. Saints are taught to DISCOVER the God of Love and the benefits of enjoying HIM in worshipping.

The second Sunday is Love and Appreciation Sunday opening up into a Membership week. Members are encouraged to DEVELOP the value and warmth of this Love in the ‘part of the Body’ God has placed them in.

The third Sunday is Ministry Sunday leading us into a Ministry week. Folks are called upon to DISTRIBUTE this love of God amongst each other through the gifting, abilities and talents God has endowed upon each of them.

The fourth Sunday is Find a Friend Sunday, un-veiling into a Mission week. Believers are instructed to reach out beyond the walls of the church (to the un-churched) and DEMONSTRATE this love; by letting them know humanity was created to enjoy God (worship him) in this life and the one after.

Ministry Goals:

1. Build and establish a Worship Center; a place whose purpose is seeing souls of men come to seek and serve HIM; to be trained, taught, equipped and raised to be effective and efficient worshippers back in their homes, churches and lives. My heart throbbing dream is seeing a worship army raised in and from this worship center. That is the reason why we do have worship conferences running annually in our church premises.

2. Embarked on reaching out to the surrounding less fortunate sections of our community (homeless and helpless) through the distribution of food and raiment and organizing what we call "food-clinics."

3. Evangelism in hospitals, schools and prisons is carried out on a monthly basis. We look forward to seeing this become a fully fledged church ministry and networking with churches/ministries with a similar vision around our community.

4. Teaching, Equipping and Releasing church leaders and ministers in the Body of Christ .We have done this by beginning what we have called "Minister's Camp Meetings" running annually in our church premises. Our ultimate objective is to extend this vision nation wide to other communities and towns.

5. Initiate and facilitate income generating projects that will help provide employment to at least some of our church folks and their families. We began with a brick making project (locally manufactured) and poultry breeding on a small scale. A number of such like other plans and ideas are at heart and on paper.

6. With two relating churches and the increasing need of church workers', we plan to see the 'missionaries' that the church dispatches periodically facilitated through the acquisition of easy and affordable means of transport i.e., bicycles and motor-bikes; since they are manageable and accessible further inland.

7. We plan to set up a foster/rehabilitation home and a nursery school for at least some of the kids we meet and feed in our community outreaches; where they may be clothed and helped with their education needs.

8. The church has ministers that have been serving for a good while on a voluntary basis. We plan to see some of these become full-time church workers receiving a monthly salary.

9.The ministry also looks at providing a starter pack for its fellowshipping churches by helping set up projects like maize mills, handy-works, etc. these will in turn help sustain and through them raise some moneys that will take care of their church needs and further the gospel thereto.

10. Some of the enlisted goals are being pursued on a small scale. Our long run dream is setting up a COMMUNITY CENTER where different activities will be conducted stretching from Counseling, Educational, Spiritual, Recreational/Social and Ministerial programs. Spiritual services will include fellowships and worship services; Educational will involve a nursery, foster/rehabilitation and computer training schools for many of our youth who are school drop-outs for many reasons. We want to provide Counseling services for orphans and victims of social abuse (many of whom roam our communities) and AIDS patients in general. Social activities involving sports and games will be a big boost to our evangelism/out-reach programs especially to the youth. Ministerial programs will entail conferences and seminars that will help train, raise and release disciples.

11. The need to purchase the surrounding and existing lands will help accommodate the above goals and dreams; help create an opportunity for the urgent church extension program that includes setting up permanent church offices, children’s Sunday room, enough parking space and wings for some of our church minister's.
